“I am very happy because we have managed to adequately and significantly adjust and raise the salary tables of teachers in the country who will enjoy an improved salary, advanced, towards the living wage in March”, announced the president, Nicholas Maduro Moors.
“It is signed and approved,” said the head of state from the Francisco Pimentel school, where he led the “A Drop of Love for my School” Plan, in the comprehensive recovery of the country’s educational physical plants.
The National President commented that all the salary tables of teachers, teachers, workers, administrative workers and the community that works for the formation of children and young people of the new generations were increased.
“I thank everyone, because in dialogue with unions and federations, we made progress. I think the agreement is very satisfactory, I am happy as a trade unionist and worker. I am a worker president, class president, and what class? Of the Venezuelan working class.”
He affirmed that as president of the Republic he respects and loves the teaching profession of Venezuela. “I am grateful to the teaching profession, for the moral strength, and the conscience of the teachers… Conscience of thousands of teachers, preschoolers, basic, secondary and university education, male and female teachers.”
He reiterated that class awareness and the commitment of educators in the education of boys, girls and young people play a significant role in forging the future and the values of the new generations.
“These boys and girls are diamonds to be polished. And you teachers, teachers, are the ones who polish the diamond of the future generations of the powerful, prosperous, great and socialist, free and independent Venezuela”.
