LEAGUE 1 National Esports 2024 enters the playoff round. The competition held by PB Esports Indonesia saw six teams compete for the championship title.

The playoff round will take place offline in Jakarta for three days, 25-27 October 2024. After a long journey in the group phase, only the six best teams remain who will compete for tickets to reach the final round.

The six competing teams are Mahadewa, Kings, Dewa United Hades, Donkey.ID x GPX, EVOS Holy, and ONIC Miracle.

Garudaku Event Director, Wim Reynaldo, said that this year’s National Esports League will emerge a new champion.

The reason is, the defending champion team Pajajaran Esports did not qualify for the playoffs. The total prizes up for grabs in this year’s edition of the league are worth IDR 3.2 billion.

“The prizes we are giving for the prize pool total IDR 3.2 billion in the 2024 National Esports League,” said Wim Reynaldo in Jakarta, Friday (25/10).

The National Esports League was held by PB ESI and Garudaku to look for talent. According to Wim, this competition will look for potential national team players who will be included in international championships.

The National Esports League system is also implemented with a hierarchy of League 3, League 2 and League 1 and promotion and relegation are enforced. Teams that are successful in the league can move up to a higher caste while those in the lowest positions can be relegated. (M-4)
