The main responsibilities of the coordination mechanism are to guide and promote the organization and implementation of the national comprehensive freight hub supplementary and strong chain work; organize the evaluation of the national comprehensive freight hub supplementary chain and strong chain work, and the promotion of typical experience; Strengthen the overall planning and utilization of resources in terms of rights and funds to form a joint force; strengthen work guidance in planning, programs, projects, performance management, etc., and give full play to the professional advantages of all parties; coordinate and promote key issues implemented across provinces.
In 2022, the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Finance jointly launched the national comprehensive freight hub supplementary and strong chain work, and determined Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Ningbo, Jinhua, Xiamen, Fuzhou, Quanzhou, Jinan, Linyi, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Chengdu, and Kunming are the first batch of 15 supporting cities to arrange central funds to support the construction of comprehensive freight hubs and collection and distribution systems, improve the efficiency of comprehensive transportation, and serve the safety and stability of the supply chain industry chain.
In the next step, the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Finance will do a good job in the performance evaluation of the first batch of national comprehensive freight hubs to supplement and strengthen the chain support cities. At the same time, guide the orderly development of the second batch of national comprehensive freight hubs to supplement and strengthen the chain to support urban construction.
