National Campaign ‘100 Days of Health’: Free Medical Services and Health Awareness Initiatives

I wrote – Maram Muhammad Monday, June 26, 2023 07:00 AM Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza, will inaugurate this Monday morning, National campaign “100 days of health”.From the Mit Oqba Health Office, which was launched by the Ministry of Health and Population in all governorates of the Republic, and its activities will continue until the beginning of next October, within the framework of implementing the national plan for presidential initiatives to raise health awareness of the causes of infection with infectious diseases, risk factors for noncommunicable diseases, and how to limit the spread of some genetic diseases.

The initiative, which includes integrated medical teams and mobile medical clinics, aims to conduct medical examinations on citizens free of charge, provide them with all health and treatment services, foremost of which are the services of the presidential initiatives 100 million health, and ensure the availability of services of the required quality for all target groups and access to citizens in gathering places, centers and neighborhoods, within the framework of implementing National plan for presidential initiatives in the health sector.

The campaign provides services for initiatives (maternal and fetal health care for pregnant women, as well as detection and treatment of hearing in newborns, and an initiative to examine those who are about to get married), in addition to examining premature babies for genetic diseases, as well as providing diagnostic and referral services for schoolchildren who are likely to suffer from malnutrition diseases. And others, and they are provided through primary care units, as well as through mobile teams, medical convoys and family planning vehicles.
