The National Academy of Medicine reported a rebound in cases of influenza and covid-19 in the country during December.

“Nine cases were detected on January 1, 2023, coming from abroad, Panama and other neighboring countries. Biosecurity measures must be in place,” said the vice president of the institution, Huníades Urbina.

The doctors ask that citizens apply the third and fourth dose of the reinforcement once morest this virus, in order to avoid further infections. They also ask not to forget biosecurity measures such as the use of masks and hand washing.
