Nation should be reassured about King Salman’s health: Saudi Crown Prince

Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said during a cabinet meeting on Tuesday that King Salman’s health is satisfactory.

According to the Saudi news agency SPA, King Salman was medically examined at the royal clinic at the Salam Palace on Sunday because his body temperature was higher than normal and he was in pain.

He was diagnosed with pneumonia and prescribed a course of antibiotics for treatment.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman also briefed the Council on the outcome of the Arab League summit and emphasized the Kingdom’s commitment to Arab affairs, joint action development, regional security enhancement and the defense of Arab interests.

Minister of Information Salman bin Yusuf al-Dosari said following the meeting that the council discussed recent state activities, especially efforts to strengthen regional and international cooperation.

The Council reiterated the Kingdom’s commitment to international cooperation in the fight once morest money laundering, terrorist financing and corruption.

The Saudi cabinet also authorized the energy minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman to finalize the memorandum of understanding on energy cooperation with Pakistan.

The cabinet also approved the Kingdom’s accession to an international agreement on wetlands of international importance, especially waterfowl habitats.
