Nate McMillan has been confirmed head coach of the Atlanta Hawks

Atlanta Hawks interim coach Nate McMillan was named head coach on Monday. The Georgia franchise offered him a long-term contract, following he gave the Hawks a thunderous end to the season. According to ESPN, McMillan has signed up for four seasons.

Arrived as an assistant last November, he then took over from coach Lloyd Pierce, dismissed in March. The Hawks had a tough start to the season, with a record of 14 wins and 20 losses. But Nate McMillan turned things around, allowing the Hawks to register 27 wins once morest 11 losses.
