Natasha St-Pier almost spent time in prison. Invited on RTL last July, the semi-finalist of Dancing with the Stars 2024 (TF1) revealed the improbable reason why she was suspected of theft by the police.

At the time, the 43-year-old Canadian singer was on tour in Quebec. On this occasion, the production rented a mini-van. And a simple oversight might have turned Natasha St-Pier’s life upside down. “We stop at the restaurant and realize that the guitarist had left the keys in the car. There, I have a wonderful idea: my father works in a prison, possibly he has an inmate who knows how to unlock a car. I call my dad and he says, ‘I have a guy here because he stole several cars.’ The inmate calls me and says: ‘You need to find a hanger and you need to narrow the buckle“, she recalled.
No sooner said than done. The mother of Bixente (8 years old, fruit of her former union with Grégory Quillacq) did everything possible to open the vehicle. And, unluckily, a police officer was passing by, while she was rejoicing at having been able to open the mini-van.
