A few days ago, Natascha Ochsenknecht (60) celebrated a milestone birthday: the head of the well-known TV family turned 60! Even though the former model has no problem with getting older, there is one thing that worries her: the issue of retirement provision as an unmarried and self-employed woman. “I didn’t plan ahead because I was married for 20 years and thought I was provided for”admits the mother of three in an interview with t-online.
Natascha only became aware of this fact after her divorce: “When you separate, the world suddenly looks completely different. Then you think: ‘Oh, now I have to start all over again.'” A problem that the 60-year-old sees in many women in her situation. “You do think about it when you are self-employed: What will the future look like? How long can I continue to work? Do I have enough money saved up? What else can I do?” Nevertheless, the power woman is confident: “I am a creative person and I think I will work as long as possible because it is simply fun.”
Born in Düsseldorf, she began modeling at an early age and also tried her hand at acting. She rose to fame alongside her ex-husband Uwe Ochsenknecht (68). The two were married from 1993 to 2012 and are the parents of Wilson Gonzalez (34), Jimi Blue (32) and Cheyenne (24). In addition to her work as an influencer, the family’s TV show Diese Ochsenknechts and other appearances on reality TV, Natascha is also a proud grandmother. Just a few weeks ago, the birth of Wilson’s first daughter made her a grandmother four times over.
