Books – Mohamed Emara:
Nasser El-Prince, owner of the Kebdat El-Prince store, in the Imbaba area, said that he is preparing to open a new restaurant in the Sheikh Zayed area, following the completion of the interior finishes.
Yesterday, Saturday, a campaign by the Giza Governorate authorities resulted in the closure of a number of restaurants on Talaat Harb Street, including Kebdat El-Prince, to encroach on the sanctuary of the public road and spread pedestrian sidewalks by placing food tables, seating benches, ovens and grills for preparing food.
Al-Prince added to Masrawy, on Sunday: I know that I am once morest, but tourists like to sit outside in the street, so we sit in the air at night.
And regarding his warning of a violation by the governorate’s authorities: It is known that I am a violator, and I do not need a warning.
And regarding cutting the elbows from his place, he said: I do not know that they cut the elbows to him? I was connecting two meters of a gas hose to the grills, and all of that went.. I would see another place, my soul had gone from Imbaba.
Al-Prince explained: I have a store in Sheikh Zayed in the first district, and the store in Imbaba remains very narrow, it is possible that what happened, of course, be complaints, and of course they must see it, this is the job of the governorate and no one will be wronged.
And the owner of the famous restaurant continued: We will open the Imbaba shop and not close it, but it will be in Imbaba, and the place in Zayed is not far away.
According to a statement by the governorate, it said that it is intensifying its daily campaigns at the level of neighborhoods, centers and cities to remove the encroachments of public shops, commercial establishments, restaurants and cafes on the public road to reduce negative manifestations and provide a safe campus for citizens to walk.
