Nasrallah: Despite the threat of some Gulf countries, we respect the Lebanese people’s exit to vote for “resistance”

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN)— Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, thanked the Lebanese who voted for the “resistance” in some Gulf countries despite what he described as “the presence of a threat,” as he put it.

This came in Nasrallah’s speech on Tuesday, in which he said: “We thank those who voted abroad for the lists in which there are resistance candidates, because their presence there and their vote for these lists reflects their courage, sincerity and sincerity… Many Lebanese are coming out in many countries despite the presence of a threat in some Gulf countries and vote for resistance, this is something we respect, and what happened in some countries of pressure and intimidation, we leave it to talk regarding later.”

Nasrallah added, “Any political group cannot substitute for the state, not in terms of security, economy, living and health.”

He added: “In Lebanon, we have a state and we have a constitution and laws. We do not propose, as in some Arab countries, nor do we talk regarding overthrowing a regime, establishing a new political system, or building a new state. This state and this system suffers from a set of problems that hinder its ability to Work and production, and work must be done to address them, to fill in deficiencies, and to remedy these defects through reform.
