PROSPECTIVE couple Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin have not met the General Chair of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh, directly after Eid al-Fitr. However, the three of them have been communicating since Eid started.
“Yes, if you rent, of course, Mr Anies, Gus Imin called Mr Surya to wish you (Eid al-Fitr),” said NasDem Party DPP Chairman Willy Aditya at NasDem Tower, Central Jakarta, Monday (15/4).
Willy denied that the relationship between the three of them was strained. Surya is also said to have only returned to Jakarta on Saturday, April 13 2024, so a direct meeting cannot yet be scheduled.
According to Willy, communication between Surya, Anies and Muhaimin is still good to date. The three of them also often break the fast together (bukber) during Ramadan.
“The most important thing is not just meetings, meetings are also very intensive. “Friends, you can see how bukber comes, before it comes, the most important thing is to forgive each other,” said Willy.
Surya’s communication is also said to remain good with other parties that are members of the Change Coalition. NasDem ensured that meetings with several parties outside the coalition did not cause the group to become apart.
