NASCAR has announced a unique collaboration with Fortnite, bringing the new Chicago Street Course map to Rocket Racing, the popular new racing mode. Since launching alongside Fortnite Festival in early 2024, the game mode has proven to be a smash hit thanks to its fast-paced, action-packed racing.
With the recent announcement, NASCAR confirmed that more activations will occur within Fortnite starting with this circuit.
In a statement Posting on LinkedIn, NASCAR General Manager of Gaming and Esports Nick Rend said, “The Chicago Street Course map allows players to navigate multiple routes, mastering the art of speed, drifting and avoiding obstacles in intense multiplayer races or solo time trials. This release comes ahead of the real-life Chicago Street Race taking place in Grant Park on July 6-7, giving fans and new players alike an immersive preview of the event.”
“Looking ahead to 2025 and beyond, we have exciting plans to bring more NASCAR elements to the Fortnite platform. Stay tuned for updates on new tracks, licensed vehicles, and other immersive experiences that will connect with our fans in innovative ways.”
Available across all platforms in both single-player and multiplayer formats, it promises to combine “the excitement of real-world NASCAR events with the dynamic gameplay mechanics of Rocket Racing.”
