LOS ANGELES, June 5 (Xinhua) — The US space agency NASA, in cooperation with SpaceX, launched a new resupply mission to the International Space Station on Monday.
The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft lifted off aboard the company’s Falcon 9 rocket at 11:47 a.m. ET from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
The vehicle carries new science research, station supplies and equipment to support the Expedition 69 crew, including the International Space Station’s newest pair of external solar panels.
Once installed, these solar panels will expand the power production capabilities of the plant, according to the agency. ■
