The thing that looks like a round planet is Pluto, which is at the outer edge of our solar system. The image shared by NASA shows different sections of Pluto with rainbow-like colors and stunning effects.

In the post, NASA said: “Where does the rainbow end?

In 2019, the International Astronomical Union (IAU) downgraded Pluto to a dwarf planet because it did not meet the three criteria the organization uses to define a full-size planet.

The IAU’s three criteria for a full-sized planet are: It is in orbit around the Sun, has sufficient mass to withstand hydrostatic equilibrium (almost round shape) and has “cleared the neighborhood” around its orbit. Pluto did not meet the third criteria.
