NASA releases largest image of Andromeda Galaxy

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration said the image shows a 48,000 light-year stretch of the Andromeda Galaxy with more than 100 million stars. It is reported that the picture was taken in natural visible color. The panoramic image is divided into three parts in the post, with the last part showing a blue streak of countless stars scattered across the image.

“Because the galaxy is only 2.5 million light-years from Earth, it represents a much larger target in the sky than the distant galaxies that Hubble usually photographs. As a rule, due to the distance, the telescope cannot take such large and accurate images, ”explained NASA.

Earlier, scientists from China created a method for searching for elementary particles using a quantum amplifier.
