NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope has revealed stunning new images of Jupiter, revealing fine details that will help scientists understand what’s going on on this chaotic planet.
The images feature massive storms, winds and blazing aurora, captured by the telescope’s Infrared Camera, or NIRCam.
It is worth noting that the current picture that was published is several pictures of Jupiter taken in July – July and scientists collected them in one picture.

To manipulate the variety of images, I used several filters to help highlight certain parts of the buyer. The aurora borealis in the North and South Pole shine in a redder filter, while the haze around those same regions is illuminated by a yellow-green color it picks up as it rotates, and the blue helps to show the light reflected off the main cloud.
