NASA observes Martian clouds for the first time in history

For the first time in history, the US space agency NASA has spotted a video clip revealing clouds that appeared on the surface of Mars, which the curiosity rover captured on the surface of the Red Planet 6 years ago.

And it seems that the clouds on the surface of Mars in the video appeared faint and transparent because they are not composed of water or ice particles, but are mostly made of carbon dioxide ice particles because they are very cold.

The American “cnet” website quoted NASA that the clouds rise from the surface of Mars 80 kilometers, and not as it appears on Earth, as the height of the clouds from the earth reaches 2 and 6 kilometers.

It is clear that photographing clouds on the surface of Mars requires special techniques, and this is what is available in the lenses of the “Curio City” spacecraft, which also captured the passage of its shadows on the land of Mars.

The site report revealed that NASA scientists revealed that the ice cloud cover of Mars may have supported the rivers and lakes in it because it is possible that the emergence of ice clouds to high altitudes, which keeps the planet warm enough for the presence of rivers and lakes.
