The National Road Safety Agency (NARSA) is continuing its efforts to improve its services for the benefit of users and is continuing its digitization project by awarding a public contract aimed at computerizing the process of issuing certificates of physical fitness and mental health, to a company specializing in digital solutions.
NARSA has just awarded its public contract, which was launched a few months ago and targeting the implementation of a computerized management system, to the company Inetum Maroc, a multinational company that offers digital services and solutions to institutions wishing to integrate this new digital era.
Thus, the market allocated to the company an amount of 1.4 MDH in order to install a computerized system which will serve as a coordination point between the agency, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection and the doctors responsible for issuing certificates of physical and mental aptitude to applicants for driving licenses. It will make it possible to monitor and assess the state of health of drivers. This procedure applies both to candidates who will take the tests to obtain a driving licence, as well as to professional drivers and people aged 65 and over.
When launching the tender for the project, NARSA said that “the dematerialization of this process must be done by ensuring communication and interfacing between all the possible information systems existing at the level of NARSA and the provincial and regional structures of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection».
Remember that in September NARSA launched a new platform called “Traffic offenses”, in order to allow users to consult and follow up on their own any traffic offenses committed, which will facilitate the task of all Moroccan citizens, foreign residents in Morocco as well as foreign tourists driving a vehicle registered in Morocco. It was designed in particular to prevent them from traveling by offering the possibility of electronic payment of fines relating to offenses recorded by automated speed cameras.
