Narrgallibach meets again until midnight

Since 1969, the foolish call Galli Galli has been echoing through the town in the fifth season of the year. The Gallspacher Fools’ Guild is one of the oldest fun societies in the region. For weeks, the fools and their president Klaus Aigner have been working on the program for the two carnival sessions on January 27th and February 2nd in the Kursaal.

“The program will again last until midnight, plus/minus, depending on how often the audience asks for encores. 66 actors on, in front of and behind the stage will take part this year,” says President Aigner.

The audience from near and far can once again look forward to beloved fixtures such as the “Goispocha Voischxaung”, of which Aigner is also a member, and the Kommunal(d)e Siegi, which Schartner’s mayor Christian Steiner has embodied for many years. “I kept my cheeky mouth as mayor, I never run out of material,” assures Steiner in an interview with the Welser Zeitung. He will once again devote himself to events in the district town of Grieskirchen and of course Gallspacher issues such as the replacement of the management and restaurant operators.

In any case, the program will be entertaining with a colorful mix of sketches, a new show by the magician Houdini, humorous singing as well as guard and show dance performances.

In addition to the “usual suspects,” there will also be some new faces on stage this year. “In the future, we may well need even more people who have the confidence to perform on stage,” says Aigner. However, there are no problems with the guards, who will also appear at the carnival meeting in Eberschwang this year. The Gallspacher Fools also take part in the carnival parade in Grieskirchen and Raab. The next Gallspacher carnival parade will not take place until 2026.
