“This Monday, March 4, Local Research, Narcotics section, of the Brussels Capital Ixelles police zone arrested six suspects during several searches carried out as part of a narcotics investigation,” announced the police zone in a press release. The investigation began with the arrest in October 2023 of two suspects for selling cocaine.

By following the trail, the investigators discovered that they worked for the same organization. Investigations lead agents to “a call center where goods were both stored and distributed after being ordered. This call center was managed by an individual reported since October 2021 after escaping from prison.” The searches this Monday, in addition to the six arrests, made it possible to get their hands on 50,000 euros and 310 pacsons of cocaine, or approximately 260 grams. A seventh individual is still being sought.

”Of these six people, three were released, another was already subject to conditional release as part of this investigation. Two others were presented to the investigating judge. The latter decided to place two suspects under arrest warrant. They are charged with trafficking in narcotics within the framework of an association, one of the suspects being charged as leader of the association. The investigation continues.”
