The Local Police of Naples conducted a series of operations aimed at combating the phenomenon ofillegal occupation of public land, unauthorized sales and infringements of the Highway Code. The Operational Units involved operated in various areas of the city, monitoring both commercial activities and road traffic. 64 infringements of the Highway Code were detected, with 20 vehicles seized or administrative arrest, 7 those removed for obstructing traffic, two illegal street vendors sanctioned with the seizure of the goods and 13 premises sanctioned for violations of rules and regulations especially In Dante Squarethe Lawyer Operational Unit carried out checks on 13 vehicles, with 7 reports contested for infringements such as lack of inspection (art. 80), repeated driving without a license (art. 116) and lack of insurance (art. 193) .
Administrative seizures and detentions of the vehicles involved were also carried out. In the neighborhood Escapeduring a musical event, local police officers fined two illegal sellers of drinks with fines of 5,000 euros eachpursuant to regional trade legislation, and the goods were seized.
The Stella Operational Unit, in a control action in Colli Aminei, issued a total of 9 reports for violations of the regulations on parking and traffic restrictions. road safetywith three vehicles taken and one removed on site. The Fuorigrotta Operational Unit has elevated 7 administrative sanctions of which two per uninsured vehicle and removed 3 parked vehicles. Furthermore, it sanctioned a commercial business for violating the regulations on noise impact. A joint operation with the support of the Carabinieri, the ASL and Enel it affected the Pianura neighborhood, where I stayed51 vehicles were checked.
They were 5 vehicles seized, 7 subjected to administrative detention and 4 entrusted to the custodian-buyer. Furthermore, a parked vehicle was towed away. Among the violations found, there are vehicles without insurance (art. 193) and circulating despite tax burdens (art. 214). Overall, 21 reports were issued. Numerous commercial establishments were inspected. In Via Dalì, a bakery was sanctioned for lack of authorizations and serious hygienic-sanitary discrepancies, leading to the suspension of the activity by the ASL. Tampering with the electricity meter was also detected, for which investigations are underway.
In Via Provincial Montagna Spaccata a mechatronics workshop was fined for installing unauthorized advertising signs (art. 23). In Via dell’Epomeo alone, the Soccavo Operational Unit issued over 20 reports for prohibited parking. The Chiaia Operational Unit carried out checks in street premises Saint LuciaVia Santa Brigida, Via Nazario Sauro and Via Ferrigni, taking steps to register three activities for illegal occupation of public land, two for lack of tent authorization, two for lack of signage, 2 for not having carried out waste separation and one for the sale of alcohol without authorization and to notify a suspension activity per 3 days to a place already mentioned several times previouslya.
