Naomi’s Impact Wrestling Debut and Sol Ruca’s Injury: Updates and Details

2023-04-27 07:00:00

She left WWE following leaving a RAW arena with Sasha Banks almost a year ago, and Naomi still hasn’t set foot in a ring, unlike her former teammate who just finished a championship run in Japan.

A year later, Naomi’s future is finally decided! According to information from the PWInsider, the Superstar will be making his Impact Wrestling debut at this weekend’s tapings.

For its part, Fightful confirms that the wrestler as well as the wrestling promotion have been in discussion. Real name Trinity Fatu has been seen backstage at NJPW, GCW and ROH shows in recent months.

WWE thought they might get Naomi back but no one was signed to the main roster in 2023 as you know.

During the episode of WWE NXT Spring Breakin 2023, Sol Ruca found herself the victim of an attack in the Performance Center by a mystery person.

Today, the Wrestling Observer provided an update on the subject and explains that WWE made the decision to shoot this scene in order to justify a real injury. Sol Ruca is suffering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee. This means that she will be absent for an indefinite period, at least a few months.

Sol Ruca had a great NXT debut thanks to his agility and talent in the ring. Her last match was at an NXT Live Event on April 14 when she teamed up with Dani Palmer to take on Jakara Jackson and Lashl Legend, which might have been around the time of her injury or during practice.

She also had the chance to participate in WrestleMania 39, a first WrestleMania, playing the cereal mascot Cinnamon Toast Crunch (Croque Cannelle) for the match between Rey and Dominik Mysterio. Quite a push!
