At the end of the suspense and the shots on goal, the Nantais won against the Monegasques and joined the Niçois in the final of the Coupe de France.

A match that started at a good pace and it was Guillermo Maripan who struck first with a goal in the 12th minute of play, following a free kick perfectly struck by Vanderson. The Monegasques take the lead and the ascendancy in this beginning of the meeting but Djibril Sidibé will put the Canaries back in the game. The French defender was guilty of an own goal in the 21st minute of play, after a fine action by Randal Kolo Muani. A calmer end to the first period and two imprecise teams.

The match which resumed slowly after the break before going crazy at the end of the match. After a confused action in the Monegasque area, it was Samuel Moutoussamy who took advantage and pushed the ball into the back of the net. Nantes leads 2-1 in the 75th and La Beaujoire exults. A short-lived happiness since Myron Boadu equalized less than two minutes later on a cross from Vanderson. The match is unbridled. Both teams want victory but can’t decide. Nantes won 4 shots on goal to 2 after the Monegasque failures of Wissam Ben Yedder and Aurélien Tchouaméni.

22 years after its last victory in the competition against Calais, FC Nantes will return to the Stade de France. The Canaries will face the Aiglons on May 28.
