Namur Marathon: disruptions to expect

This Sunday takes place the 6th Namur marathon. The sporting event will disrupt mobility in the city throughout the day, reports The future.

The disruptions mainly concern parking in areas affected by the route. Numerous measures have, in fact, been taken by the city, mainly concerning roads and the RAVel. They can be consulted on the city of Namur website.

Concerning parking, local residents impacted by the marathon will be able to park in the Namur Expo (475 spaces), Hôtel de Ville (350 spaces) and Saint-Nicolas (275 spaces) municipal car parks, open and free on 7/4 of 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

On-street parking in Salzinnes near Namur Expo in the blue zone is limited to 3 hours, including Sundays (refer to the signage in place).

On the TEC lines side, the TEC Faubourg avenue Albert Ier stop towards Beez (line 5) is canceled and is transferred to the CHR stop.

As for mobility, access and exit from P Confluence is possible during the event, but filter barriers are planned when runners pass through.
