Valve has presented statistics on video cards, processors, RAM and other hardware for Steam users for July 2022. The data was published on the official website of the digital store.
The NVIDIA GTX 1060 remains the most popular graphics card among gamers, with 6.96% of gamers using it. The leader managed to increase the lead over the GTX 1650 (6.19%), in third place is the GTX 1050 Ti (5.54%). The most common graphics chip from another manufacturer was the AMD Radeon RX 580 – 1.43% of the audience and 17th place.
Statistics on the most popular settings, components and equipment among Steam users in July 2022:
- OS version – Windows 10 64 bit (73.17%);
- RAM – 16 GB (53.25%);
- number of physical CPU cores – 6 (33.76%);
- graphics card – NVIDIA GTX 1060 (6.96%);
- video memory – 8 GB (26.02%);
- main screen resolution – 1920×1080 (67.1%);
- English language;
- drive capacity – more than 1 TB (54.27%);
- VR headset – Oculus Quest 2.
