Named presenter to replace Ivan Urgant on Channel One

The media continue to discuss the topic of the departure of TV presenter Ivan Urgant from Russia following the words regarding the military special operation in Ukraine. And although Urgant himself said that he would return soon, and Channel One denied the information that his Evening Urgant show would no longer be released, news is spreading on Telegram channels that a new program with a well-known host is already being prepared.

Recall that earlier Ivan Urgant reacted to rumors regarding leaving for Israel with his family. “Don’t panic. They let me go on vacation, but I’ll take it and be back soon,” he wrote.

However, Express Newspaper reportedthat with the beginning of autumn on Channel One, allegedly, instead of “Evening Urgant”, a new show may be released. According to the publication, the program is now actively working.

The report notes that the famous humorist and showman Garik Martirosyan will become the host of the new show. The exact name of the new show is unknown. Martirosyan himself allegedly joked that he would call the program “Round-the-clock Martirosyan” in order to “please Vanya.”

However, there are no official reports and confirmations of this information yet.
