The Société d’Etudes du Lauragais (SEL), in partnership with the town hall of Nailloux and the county council, is organizing an outdoor cinema evening on Friday August 19, at 9 p.m., place de l’église. The evening will begin at 7 p.m., with a “Spanish inn” meal. At 9 p.m., screening of the film “Antoinette in the Cévennes”. A film made in 2020, selected at Cannes, by Caroline Vignal with Laure Calamy and Benjamin Lavernhe. For months Antoinette has been waiting for summer and the promise of a romantic week with her lover, Vladimir. So when he cancels their holidays to go walking in the Cévennes with his wife and daughter, Antoinette does not think long: she sets off in his footsteps! But on his arrival, no Vladimir – only Patrick, a recalcitrant donkey who will accompany him on his singular journey… The SEL association, made up entirely of volunteers, seeks to make cultural leisure activities accessible to all. It offers various actions in terms of amateur practices and artistic dissemination, with particular attention to cultural democratization, especially for the youngest: foreign language courses (Spanish, Japanese) and French, self-managed pottery workshop “Barbote et Chamottine”, reading circle, “All collections stock market” and “Antiquities and flea market fair”, programming in visual arts and living arts for adults and children, music festival, “Nailloux musical encounters” and a novelty for 2022, the cinema programming.
