Nahir Besara led the way with two goals after his injury absence.

Thanks to him, Hammarby could take three safe points – after 3-0 against Mjällby.

– You have to be humble, no matches are easy, says Besara in Max.

At home at the Tele2 arena, Kim Hellberg’s gang showed from the start where the cabinet would stand against Mjällby.

But to begin with, the supporters probably put the beer down their throats when Bazoumana Touré went down in pain in the first half before continuing to play.

The question was whether it was then or just before the break that Kim Hellberg had the highest heart rate?

Because in time and time, Hammarby created some chaos in the visitors’ penalty area, which then resulted in a goal before the break. Among other things since Jusef Erabi had a super situation to 1–0, but failed to get the ball into the net.

– It’s unbelievable, unlikely that it won’t go through. That it doesn’t finish… I don’t know how it happens, was Arneng’s reaction in Max.

Erabi was surprised himself.

– So I vetifan. Noel gets a touch on it or it goes in. It is well done.

“I vetifan, then”

Kim Hellberg summed up the first 45 minutes.

– Our first 15 are the best we have done in an opening match against a great Mjällby. Then they enter the match for a period before we end it very sharply. We are satisfied with the first half, but would have liked to create a few more scoring chances.

Well into the second half, however, the home team managed to find the net almost immediately.

So much so that Nahir Besara scored both 1–0 and 2–0 in minutes 50 and 59. The second goal was widely praised on television when he caressed a pass with his right foot behind Noel Törnqvist.

In the end, a 3-0 goal also came on penalties, when Deniz Gül was pulled down and Oscar Johansson Schellhas managed the penalty, which nailed the final result.

– We step out in the second and make a phenomenal second half. We had processed Mjällby quite a lot in the first half, which means we get surfaces. It was a damn hard day in Mjällby seven games ago, since then we have played 13-2. Today I don’t think there is any talk about it, we win fairly and I am very proud of my guys, says Kim Hellberg.
