The anniversary event for the 50th anniversary of the founding of New Democracy, at the historic offices of the party, on Rigillis Street, culminated with the speech of the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who sent his own message on the occasion of this day, to all directions.
“In a broad faction, at times, obviously, not everyone will agree on everything, but many will agree on many things, especially on the issues that are critical for the country”, underlined Mr. Mitsotakis, referring to all the leaders of the party and a special mention to the founder, Konstantinos Karamanlis, whom he characterized as a politician “essentially progressive, pragmatic, anti-populist and open, who cooperated with everyone, without party labels”.
“I am Prime Minister because I am the President of the New Democracy. We move forward together, the best is yet to come and is ahead of us. Happy birthday”, concluded the Prime Minister.
