The Lebanese actress, Nadine Nassib Njeim, seemed to be satisfied with the help of her fans to respond to the criticism she received because of her pictures with her fiancé in the Maldives.
The artist, Njeim, remained silent without commenting directly from her, while she retweeted many of the comments she defended, through her Twitter account.
And she posted a comment for one of the followers talking regarding the need to “take care of your personal life and not look forward to the lives of others.”
She also posted a comment to the artistic “Bel Arabi” account, which attacked her critics: “Foreigners, what will they see in the picture: love, happiness, a beautiful life, peace of mind, a beautiful couple? Arabs, what will they see in the picture: a body, not wearing anything, why are they kissing her, shame Nakedness, repression and psychological complexes combined with jealousy and envy and wishing evil to others, so that they would be happy with what they have and be better.
The Lebanese artist re-tweeted, criticizing the persistence of others to criticize despite all circumstances, and denouncing the artist’s criticism simply because he is an artist, while the general public is not criticized.
Nadine Njeim also published the journalist Abdullah Baalbaki’s denunciation of the criticisms she received: “You go as you want, you are free and you see life in your own way and your identity, and you are not affected by reactionary rulings stemming from human intrusions that have brought us to the bottom in our Arab societies. When will we learn that the freedoms of individuals are sacred and must be respected even if they are not The similarity of our convictions? And who said that we have to adopt the same ideas and convictions?
The Lebanese artist also responded indirectly to the criticism by commenting on a video clip of a human development trainer, apparently, talking regarding the need to end the relationship with people who do not respect you.
Njeim’s comment, via the “Story” feature on her Instagram account, said: “I wish I might refer to those people who need to hear those words that were mentioned in the video. I chose myself in a world full of fakes.”
