A paternal artist saturated India with her debt, participating in international painting exhibition which took place at the Kangra Art Museum, in the historic city of Dharamsala in the Himalayas!
It’s about her Nadia Barakou, member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Capital Fathers “O Protokletos Andreas”, which accepted the highly honored invitation of Art Fort India curatorial professor Prabhınder Lall. The theme of the exhibition was “Black and white 05” in the city of Dharamsala and was held with the support of the Kangra Art Museum, in “little Tibet”, as the area is called.

As the native artist stated in “Peloponnisos“: “This call is a special honor for my visual work, in the context of the friendship of peoples and a cultural dialogue. My participation was focused with my ergography “Whirlpool of War”, a black and white creation in acrylic paint. The exhibition was dedicated to black and white artworks and prints submitted by 67 artists from different countries such as Russia, Malaysia, Armenia, Thailand, Turkey, Austria, India, etc.”
As he explains the native visual artist, regarding the “Black and White” dipole of the exhibition: “Symbolically, white represents goodness, principle, hope, justice, openness, piety, security. Black is associated with evil, sadness, jealousy, mourning, bad character, etc. as negative on the one hand and as authority, power, intelligence, professionalism, justice on the other. Black and white are considered opposites, but they create an integration, helping each other. The inner spirit of things is depicted directly.”
In this period and until August 10, Nadia Barakou participates in the “Andie Art Summer Exhibition” in Athens, which is organized in the “Andie Art” room. (Faradaton 17, Ampelokipoi-Athens).
