Nacho denounced this Saturday that his free concert scheduled for this Saturday on the island of Margarita, Nueva Esparta state, was suspended due to “orders from above” from the Comprehensive Defense Operational Zone (Zodi).
In his Instagram stories, he explained in videos that the news was given to him by Vice Admiral Gustavo Blanco de la Zodi, who told him that “the order came from above.”
To which he replied ironically “he should talk to Jesus Christ”, and added that this decision “harmed Margarita and the people, not him”.
“We got cheap tickets for people to come, cheap lodging for them to stay, in favor of promoting tourism on the island,” said the interpreter of Báilame.
On the other hand, Miguel Ignacio Mendoza asked the fans not to get upset “we are going to stay calm and smile.”
Meanwhile, the mayor’s office of the Mariño municipality thanked Nacho in a statement “who commendably and disinterestedly wants to offer a public show, free of charge for all our mariñeses. However, we inform the community that we have been informed that the concert in question has been suspended.”
