Nacho Cano denounces the dancer of “Malinche” for blackmail and revelation of secrets: we access the complaint

The composer and music entrepreneur Nacho Cano has denounced the dancer of his show “Malinche”, Lesly Guadalupe Ochoa Flores, for “conditional threats” and “revealing secrets”. She had previously denounced the artist for violating workers’ rights.

In his complaint, Nacho Cano presents the WhatsApp messages sent by the dancer to the person in charge of the musical production of the show, in which she demanded payment of 6,000 euros, a letter of recommendation, as well as a hotel stay, in order not to sue him. According to the complaint, to which LA RAZON has had access, the musician’s legal representative believes that Lesly Guadalupe Ochoa Flores “tried to blackmail” Nacho Cano “to make him attend to her requests or else he and the rest of his 17 Mexican interns would be seriously harmed.”

In addition, Nacho Cano’s lawyer explains in the complaint how by not responding to the “blackmail” a campaign of attacks, discredit and harassment of him as well as the management of “Malinche” began. He also announces that he will present an expert report quantifying the damages caused by the actions of the accused.

Regarding the crime of discovery and disclosure of secrets, the lawyer of the former member of Mecano recalls that the defendant signed the documents on December 3, 2023 for the transfer of rights, authorization of image rights and a “confidentiality agreement indefinitely.” “It is noted and thus signed that the defendant was fully aware that failure to comply with this agreement gives rise to a crime of discovery and disclosure of secrets,” the complaint states.

The complaint also states that Lesly Ochoa was selected in Mexico to work on the musical Malinche, but that she “failed to adapt to the program and caused numerous confrontations with her classmates, making living together unbearable.” If they did not meet the objectives of “companionship, attitude and dedication,” the complaint states, the students would be asked to abandon the scholarship and “would have to return to Mexico.”

According to the complaint, Ochoa was not “the only one invited” to abandon the scholarship because “she did not meet the technical level required.” There was a second student who had to abandon the scholarship and for whom the management “paid the expenses so that he could return to Mexico.” But Ochoa refused to leave Spain, lost the return ticket and from that moment on a perfectly orchestrated operation began to discredit Cano and his show.
