In the first minutes of the match, the game ebbed and flowed. Jong PSV launched a great attack on the right and scored the opening goal for the Eindhoven team in the sixth minute. With this early counter-goal, NAC picked up the thread well and showed good things.
The game continued to go back and forth, with both teams getting chances to score. In the 21st minute, it was Brigitte Franken who beat the PSV keeper with a beautiful shot from a distance and put the 1-1 on the scoreboard. This was the phase in which the Yellow-Blacks had a slight upper hand in the game.
Kim Hendriks saw that the PSV keeper was a bit too far from her goal line and made it 1-2 with a great long-range shot. In the 48th minute, NAC’s high pressure paid off and with fast combination football Stephanie Coelho Aurelio was put in position. With another great long-range shot she put her team on 1-3!
After this goal it was Jong PSV who struck the clock. In the 57th minute they came alongside and in the final phase NAC could not prevent the equalizer from being made by the Eindhoveners.
In the end a draw which both coaches were happy with. It was also a good day for Ela Yetim who after some injuries was able to play her first 15 minutes in a match.
