Islamabad allowed the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to investigate former Prime Minister and Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan in the Adiala Jail in the cipher case in the 190 million pounds scam case.
Accountability Court Islamabad Judge Muhammad Bashir heard the one hundred and ninety million pounds scam case against Chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi in Adiala Jail Rawalpindi.
Chairman PTI’s lawyer Sardar Latif Khosa while Deputy Prosecutor General Sardar Muzaffar Abbasi appeared in the court on behalf of NAB.
Speaking to the media after the hearing, Chairman PTI’s lawyer Latif Khosa said that the court has adjourned the hearing of the one hundred and ninety million pounds scandal case against Chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi till November 21.
He said that the court has ordered that NAB can interrogate Chairman PTI inside the jail, but Chairman PTI was not handed over to NAB.
On the other hand, Deputy Prosecutor General NAB Sardar Muzaffar Abbasi claimed that the accountability court has handed over Chairman PTI to NAB till October 21.
He said that NAB has to decide how to investigate PTI chairman now.
It should be noted that two days ago, the Islamabad High Court rejected Imran Khan’s bail plea in the £190 million corruption case as ineffective, while the NAB has already arrested the former prime minister in the case. .
It should be remembered that last week, former Prime Minister and Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan, who was imprisoned in Adiala Jail in the cipher case, was also arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in the Al-Qadir Trust case and the Tosha Khana reference.
In the Al-Qadir Trust case, it has been alleged that Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf and his wife used to legitimize the 50 billion rupees sent to the government of Pakistan by the British National Crime Agency (NCA) during the PTI regime. The former prime minister is also accused of misleading the federal cabinet by hiding the facts and documents related to the agreement reached with the NCA.

On May 9 this year, NAB had arrested Chairman PTI in the Al-Qadir Trust case, which led to nationwide protests by his supporters, vandalism and damage to public and private properties.
