The Minister of National Defense, Nikos Dendias, was found at the grave of Konstantinos Mitsotakis, shortly before departing from Chania. There he left some flowers in memory of the former Prime Minister.
The minister posted the snapshots on his social media account, accompanying them with a quote from Kazantzakis.
“The narrowest, most sacred form of political theory is action,” argued Nikos Kazantzakis, and continued: “There is only one path that leads to the fulfillment of the debt: the upward path.”
Another great Cretan, Kostas Mitsotakis, walked with these basic principles and values. He served our country and people. He insisted, until the end, and with unique consistency, that he fought battles, in order for political correctness to become the correct policy for the country.
A few thoughts and a few flowers in his memory, on the occasion of my today’s visit to Chania, which he loved so much.
