Smelling a bargain, many fans of the brand blind-ordered an item that won’t ship until December 2024.

No image, no description, or commentary accompanies the sheet of a product referenced under the mysterious name of “Nintendo August 2020 4” on Amazon. However, that did not prevent this unknown item from rising to the top of video game sales on the famous e-commerce platform, following a tweet from Nintend’Alerts, a website known to be at the on the lookout for bargains on Nintendo products.
Hoping to make a deal, many fans of the Japanese brand have indeed blindly placed an order for this item, which is sold at a price of 99.99 euros (less than 99 francs).
From the comments, some are betting that this might be a collector’s edition of the game «The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom», the price of which is normally higher. This highly anticipated future sequel to “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” is due out May 12, 2023 on Nintendo Switch. However, the launch of the mysterious product, currently in pre-order and also appearing in 1st place of the best sellers in the Consoles category for Nintendo Switch, is scheduled for December 18, 2024… As recalled by Nintend’Alerts, as well as buyers who love the risk, in the case of Amazon, it is possible to cancel the order in case of disappointment.
