Friday and Saturday, singer Mylène Farmer was to perform at the Stade de France. But his concerts were postponed due to the riots that affected France following the death of young Nahel, in Nanterre.
She shared her “tremendous sadness” and promised his fans, through his manager, to find a solution quickly.
The festival committee of a town in Creuse, Mainsat, decided to make a proposal to the singer: invite her to perform at the La Chapelle stadium, in their town. And this, for free.
“We have the stage in the village hall that we can make available to you and for the RDN sound, we will rent a not too bad sound system”wrote Mathieu Martinet, president of the festival committee.
“Riot level, no problem, the city of Mainsat is very calm, they are very charming people”he continues.
He even offers to pay the train to the star: “As we are rather fans of the star that you are, the train ticket to Guéret is for us”.
