Mykhailo Podolyak’s brother died in the Russian Federation – Vysoky Zamok

The brother of the freelance adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podolyak, died in the Russian Federation.

The source noted that the circumstances of Podolyak Sr.’s death are unknown, but it is unlikely that he died in battle — the 59-year-old Podolyak was a retired colonel of the GRU (the central authority for managing military intelligence in the Russian Armed Forces, — ed.). On his grave there is a wreath “From the team” from the “GRU Officer Training Center”.

Podolyak Sr. died on May 19, 2024. The fact of death was confirmed by a Moscow notary who started the inheritance case.

“Os tak” media established that Volodymyr Podolyak is registered in Moscow at the address: 50 Narodnoy Opalcheny Street. The Military Academy of the Ministry of Defense of Russia is located there, which trains personnel for military intelligence.

Mykhailo Podolyak previously claimed that he practically does not communicate with his brother, he is a “long-time ordinary military pensioner” and has been living in Russia since 1986 or 1987.

According to the media, Podolyak Sr. was at the Ukrainian-Russian negotiations in Istanbul in the spring of 2022. Podoliak Jr. was also in the Ukrainian delegation at that time.

“It became known regarding the death of Mykhailo Podolyak’s brother in Russia. According to the advisor of the President’s Office, he was an ordinary military pensioner who had been living in the Russian Federation since 1986. But very interesting details were noticed in the photos. As it turned out, an ordinary pensioner received medals for achievements in the so-called SVO. Brother Podolyak also has a very interesting place of work. Is this related to Zelenskyi’s statement that the plan for our counteroffensive was on the table in the Kremlin even before the counteroffensive itself began? Will there be an explanation from the authorities as to how people who are closely connected with Russia appear in management positions? Why was Mykhailo Podolyak expelled from Belarus? I, Boryslav Bereza, tell you all regarding this on my channel. Don’t miss it!”, — wrote Borislav Bereza is online.
