Rangoon; Myanmar national leader and former ruler Aung Suu Kyi has been sentenced to three years of rigorous imprisonment. A court also ordered them to do hard labor inside the jail during this period. President Vinhmin has also been sentenced to the same punishment. The punishment has been imposed on the allegation of rigging the national elections held in November 2020. But Aung Suu Kyi, who is also a leader of the National League for Democracy, denied the charge. The NLD won a huge majority in that election. Aung Suu Kyi, who was ousted by military action, is currently serving a prison sentence.
