The mother of the child Marcelo, the newborn who died at the “Pedro Emilio Carrillo” hospital in the city of Valera, told Diario de Los Andes how things happened in the birth and death of her baby.

Soreilys Briceno, assured that gave birth to little Marcelo at 9 am, he weighed 3,200 kilograms and measured 51 cm, he was a completely healthy baby.

The complainant indicates that at regarding 7 pm on January 18 they took all the newborn children to bathe them, without knowing it, that would be the last moment she saw him alive and healthy.

Two hours later, all the children returned with their mothers, except for little Marcelo, who according to the doctors had shortness of breath, later they had to take him out of an emergency to the neonatology area where he did not come out alive.

According to the medical report, the boy died the next morning, he had a clavicle and skull fracture, for that disconsolate mother it was too evident that it was a bad practice of the personnel that works there.

Now he has no choice but demand justice for the death of Marcelo, it is necessary for the impunity to which they are accustomed in the hospital to cease to reign and with the death that has been denounced on several occasions on neonates.
