“My sisters and I used to eat the leftovers of our relatives.”

The Egyptian artist, Sameh Hussein, blew resounding surprises regarding his personal life, the difficulties he faced in his life, and the nightmares of his artistic beginnings, stressing that he worked in more than one field at the beginning of his life to help his mother.

He revealed during an interview with the “One of the People” program presented by the journalist Amr Al-Laithi that he and his sisters were eating the “leftovers” of their relatives’ food because of the distress of the situation, and he said: “My mother used to tell my relatives that she is a breeder of chicks in the skylight and she wanted the rest of the food for them, and they used to give her the leftovers.” My sisters and I were the chickens who ate the leftovers, and I very respect everyone who works and spends on his family.”

He added that he was never ashamed of his past, explaining that “my mother was separated from my father and she was the one who was in charge of spending on us.. I had a lot of fun in my life.”

He also revealed that he worked in several professions during his university studies, to spend on his studies and his family, explaining, “I worked for me, I used to remove bricks and sand on my back, and he showed them high roles to the extent that this job affected my back to this day, and I was not ashamed at all, but on the contrary I was happy very”.

And regarding the most difficult situations in his life, he said, “The most difficult days of my life when my mother died, and following that my little brother died by drowning in Alexandria, and it is considered that I raised my sisters and consider them my children .. My father tried to apologize before his death, but it was salvation.”

It is noteworthy that Sameh Hussein is awaiting the screening of his new movie, “Sandwich Children”, following an absence of regarding 3 years from the cinema, as his last work in the cinema was the movie “Live Your Life”, which was shown in 2019.
