The Lebanese artist Assi El-Hellani confirmed that his personality is respected on the artistic scene, but that does not prevent him from defending himself when needed, commenting: “I will not accept anyone trampling on a limb.”
Al-Hellani added to “Fuchsia”: “I respect people, and they, in turn, respect me, so my name is far from the differences.”
The Lebanese artist considered that the media players play a major role in increasing the pace of disputes in the artistic scene, especially as they resort to provoking the artist by asking questions that are not likely to be answered or addressed.
He pointed out that most of the time the media reports a specific news with the aim of provoking the artist and attracting him to give his opinions in a strong way.
And he continued: “The artist is a messenger of love and art, what does it have a meaning that enters with my hands the labyrinths that occur. Sometimes the media play a role that is not very good. This is my opinion, and you can explain what you want.”
Assi Al-Hillani confirmed that he was not aware of the differences in the artistic scene, commenting by saying: “If he is a source of goodness and agreement between artists, I will never hesitate.”
Meanwhile, the artist Assi Al-Hillani had filmed Saturday with director Ahmed Al-Munajjid his new Iraqi work, during which he collaborated with the artist Adel Al-Iraqi.
