Meu Méqui: McDonald’s launches its loyalty program to return the love of its consumers
Have you ever thought regarding asking for Méqui and getting more Méqui? To repay the love of its most loyal customers, McDonald’s is launching Meu Méqui, a loyalty program that will allow consumers across the country to accumulate points and exchange them for their favorite products in all of the chain’s restaurants.

Increasingly deepening its presence in the digital environment, which is already responsible for 61% of total sales in Brazil, the brand makes the new feature available on the Méqui app, already present in the daily lives and on the cell phones of millions of customers in the country. “Méqui is part of people’s lives and that’s why we want to repay the love of those who have always been with us. We are the first country in Latin America to receive Meu Méqui, which is more than a loyalty program, it is a new business modality that will benefit and further customize the consumer’s digital experience at McDonald’s”, explains Sérgio Eleutério, director of Marketing at McDonald’s in Brazil.
How to participate in My méqui
To access the program, the consumer must:
Download the Méqui app; Register with the requested data; That’s it, now just go to Méqui, accumulate points and redeem prizes.
After registering for the program, purchases can be made through McDonald’s physical or digital sales channels, whether through the app – via self-delivery or Peça e Retire -, or by going to the restaurant and identifying yourself with the QR code via the Drive Thru, a self-service totem or at the restaurant counter, they are converted into points: each R$ 1 becomes 100 points. Prizes vary according to the number of points accumulated, which last for six months, and redemption must be made through the app via self-delivery or Order and Collect.

For the launch of the program and wanting to repay all the loyalty of consumers so far, on the first purchase following registering on Meu Méqui, Méqui will give, in addition to the purchase points, another 6,000 points, enabling all users to make their first exchange to get to know the experience.

• 6,000 points: 1 cone, 1 100mL premium coffee or 1 cheese bread
• 12,000 points: 1 McColosso Chocolate, 1 Cheeseburger or 1 small McFritas
• 20,000 points: 1 Sundae, 1 McChicken or 1 medium McFries
• 30,000 points: 1 400mL McShake, 1 Double Burger with Cheese or 1 Large McFritas
• 40,000 points: 1 Mcflurry Ovaltine, 1 classic sandwich (Big Mac, Cheddar McMelt or Quarteirão) or 1 Chicken McNuggets with 10 pieces and sauce
• 50,000 points: 1 Big Tasty, 1 Happy Meal or 1 McOferta Core (Big Mac, Cheddar McMelt, Quarteirão or McChicken)
