Actor Jayaram has revealed that his daughter Malavika has invented the title of his latest film with Sathyan Anthikkad. The name of the new movie is ‘Daughter’. ‘I’m looking forward to the movie’ Daughter ‘which is going to be released on April 29th. The title of the film ‘Daughter’ was invented by my daughter, ‘said Jayaram. Jayaram made the revelation during the promotion of Prabhas starrer ‘Radhe Shyam’.
‘Normally Sathyan Anthikkad films are given titles too late. It’s not intentional. He names it with a little thought. On the last day of the movie, I asked, ‘Didn’t the name come up?’ Sathyan Anthikkad replied, “No, I will not get anything.”
That day my daughter came there to watch the shooting. The location was Kakkanad. Many families had come there to watch the shoot because Mol had come. When they asked who was with me, I called out, ‘Daughter, my daughter.’ Sathyan Anthikkad heard it. Then he came up to me and said, ‘This is our title daughter’.
He also named the film after a father proudly introduces his daughter to the public. That is how the ‘daughter’ came to be, “said Jayaram.
‘Makal’ is a movie directed by Sathyan Anthikkad starring Meera Jasmine and Jayaram in the lead roles. Eleven years later, Jayaram and Sathyan Anthikkad are reuniting. The two last came together in the 2010 film ‘Katha Thudarunnu’.
