Alaa Kanno, the person most closely associated with his brother’s case, revealed that the latter signed with the Saudi Al-Nasr Club last January, noting that the Al-Hilal administration rejected his initiative to resolve the matter between the two rivals amicably.
Kanoo signed for the benefit of Al-Nasr and then renewed his contract with Al-Hilal at the beginning of this year, to be suspended for 4 months last May, and Al-Hilal was deprived of registration for two periods and obligated with the player to pay 20 million riyals in favor of Al-Nasr.
Alaa Kanno, who appeared for the first time in the media on the “In the Goal” program, said: My brother Muhammad signed his contract with Al-Nasr himself and I witnessed that, and I asked not to take pictures because Al-Hilal was going to play the final of the Saudi Super Cup.
He continued: I presented an initiative to resolve the matter amicably between Al-Nasr and Al-Hilal, but the latter’s administration refused to respond.
And regarding what is technically known as the “white paper”, the former player and the current engineer replied: It is a story that does not enter the mind, and I am surprised by those who adopted this story, which has nothing to do with the truth.
Kno revealed that there is a case filed in the courts once morest one of the honorary members of Al Hilal regarding financial dues amounting to 7 million riyals to his brother that he did not receive, indicating that Al Hilal’s offer to renew with Muhammad was 5 million riyals, while Al Nasr offered 9 million Saudi riyals.
