My arms are falling, Skull & Bones is once again offbeat

It was disturbing, then surprising, then amusing and now usual: Skull & Bones has just been postponed again.

The pirate game developed by Ubisoft Singapore was supposed to be released on different dates numerous times, and is now scheduled for early 2024; the fiscal year mentioned by Yves Guillemot ending on March 31 next yearthis leaves developers with five months to complete their project.

The big question is what will Skull & Bones ? In July 2020, the game was rebooted internally in order to achieve a new direction, much to the dismay of the team. This was clearly not enough, because in September 2022, a new shift took place. Again in January of this year, without Ubisoft being able to justify the why and how.

If the beginning of an answer can be put forward, it must be said that the beta test of the game was, to say the least, disappointing. Indeed, it is impossible for the pirates that we embody to land on an island to pills the treasures. For a game planned for 2023 – or rather 2024 – and in development for several years, it’s clearly quite sad. However, we can hope that Ubisoft Singapore has used this additional time to bring more features has Skull & Bonesmaking it a little more exciting than a I Sail Quietly At Sea Simulator.

In the meantime, we are not shying away from our pleasure of re-re-re-re-watching the gameplay trailer, while patiently waiting for a release trailer!
