In this regard, Dr. Amjad Al-Haddad, an allergy and immunology consultant at the Serum and Vaccine Center, confirmed that the Corona virus has not finished with the world yet, as some believe, and the biggest evidence of this is the emergence of a mutant on the Day of Resurrection in China.

Al-Haddad said, “It is undeniable that the Corona virus, after every mutation it develops, becomes more capable of spreading and transmitting infection, but it is less severe and dangerous than before.”
The immunologist cited the new Corona variant in China, adding: “Despite the increase in the number of infected people among citizens, the death rate resulting from it is few and limited.”

He explained that the reason for naming the Doomsday mutant by this name is due to the large jump it caused in the daily rate of infection with the Corona virus in China, however, it does not pose any danger in terms of severity of symptoms, complications and death.

Al-Haddad pointed out the importance of including Corona vaccines in the list of seasonal vaccinations, to renew the body’s immunity against Covid-19 infection, which reduces the rates of infection with the virus and its mutants around the world.
He concluded his speech by warning against negligence in obtaining the stimulus dose for Corona vaccines, because with the increase in the number of those who do not obtain them, the rates of infection with the virus will rise again, and this will help it mutate into new mutations, stressing also the need to adhere to precautionary measures.
