The turnover (CA) of the Moroccan industrial group specializing in household consumer goods, Mutandis, stood at 518 million dirhams (MDH) in the 1st quarter of the year (Q1-2023), up 23% compared to Q1-2022.
This growth is explained by an increase in sales volume in almost all product categories, despite prices significantly higher than those of Q1-2022, the Group said in a press release on its quarterly indicators as of March 31, 2023.
Input prices have stabilized overall, while remaining above those of Q1 2022, the same source said, adding that the published turnover for Q1-2023 does not include that of the mineral water activity, which is being acquired. .
By product category, the Group’s Season brand recorded the greatest increase in sales, i.e. +39% to 151 MDH, followed by the fruit juice activity (+24% to 26 MDH), seafood (+23% to 110 MDH), food bottles (+16% to 68 MDH) and detergents (+13% to 163 MDH).
At the end of March 2023, the Group’s net bank debt amounted to 875 MDH, once morest 739 MDH as of December 31, 2022, while investments for the month of March amounted to 42 MDH, reports Mutandis.
